Spain has long been associated with the guitar, especially when that guitar is in the hands of a master of Flamenco. On most evenings, after the Palacio Real closes, scores of tourists stroll just next door to one of Madrid's best-known Flamenco clubs. But there are rarely any local people in the audience.
