In the Met’s vast galleries which are visited by over 4 million people every year, we delve into unheard of stories of tragedy, madness and even murder.

We examine the armor of Henry VIII to figure out why he got so fat and crazy. We enter New York’s high-society of the past to reveal the role a nude sculpture played in a brutal murder and we go inside a vast Egyptian temple (enclosed within the museum’s walls) to find a secret chamber and discover why the temple’s statues celebrate the foreign emperor who conquered the land of the Pharaohs.
