Photo Set: Inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art
Browse our photos from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and see some of the objects featured in our sixth episode of the Museum Secrets series, premiering January 6th on History Television. There’s much more to these objects than you think!
Take a look at some beautiful shots of Manhattan from above and some of the nude statue of Diana the Huntress. Then check out the collection of armour that belonged to King Henry VIII, and the Antioch Chalice that was once believed to be the Holy Grail. There’s also a book from the medieval times proclaiming the end of the world, and the Met’s largest exhibit, The Temple of Dendur – a complete stone building within an enormous gallery that overlooks Central Park.

February 4, 2013In regards to the Holy Grail, the cup at the Met? not the grail?
Does the Grail exist? or a legend of romance.
Thank you. Tim C. Leedom
