Behind the Scenes at Moscow’s Historic Metropol Hotel

Victor Kushmaniuk, the Director for our State Historical Museum episode, takes us on a tour through one of Moscow’s oldest hotels. Built in the late 19th century in an Art Nouveau style by a group of architects, the Metropol Hotel has rooms themed after different Russian historical figures.

For our upcoming episode Museum Secrets: Inside the State Historical Museum, Moscow, we shoot a scene in Boyarsky Hall, which is perfect for the story we’re revealing about Ivan the Terrible.
