Many believe that Psusennes' wife, Queen Mutnedjmet, was buried with him but her mummy was removed to make way for the sarcophagus of her son.
Dr. Phillip Brissaud takes a different view. For 30 years, he has been team leader of the French dig at Tanis, where the tomb of Psusennes was discovered by his predecessor, Dr. Pierre Montet. Phillip believes Queen Mutnedjmet has her own tomb, hidden beneath the sands.

i have always been fascinated since i was a young child in ancient Egypt. learning about this just made my interested in the subject even more.
